AI persona: Pleasing

In the previous article, I mentioned that some AI tend to please users. But we can look closer and think about “why”. The answer is not difficult, it is because AI, I am talking about Transformers-based models, is designed to predict the next word. For the same reason, AI will and is good at predicting your “thoughts”, including what you really want to hear. Though some will think this is a sign of a good understanding, I don’t like this feature because it loses its insight and often can’t help me. I meant self-echo won’t point out what I miss. I will discuss about other features of Ais in the future.
